Hormonal Hair Loss

Hormonal hair loss occurs due to imbalances in androgens (DHT, testosterone), estrogen, progesterone, thyroid hormones, and stress hormones such as cortisol.

It often presents as*:
Thinning Hair
Increased Shedding
Receding Hairline

*Particularly in women with PCOS, menopause, or thyroid disorders.

Diagnosis involves detailed hormonal & nutrient testing and Fagron DNA test TrichoTest to identify underlying imbalances and guide treatment.

A functional approach focuses on hormone regulation, and nutrient optimisation to support healthy hair growth and prevent further loss. You can also access hair regrowth topical solutions including minoxidil, dutasteride, estradiol etc as needed.
